Recruitment of Engineers in C-DOT

C-DOT, the premier telecom research centre is looking for Experienced Graduate Engineers from recognised universities in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications and Mechanical Engineering disciplines to further strengthen its technical design and services teams working on state-of-the-art solutions.

Engineering graduates in suitable and relevant disciplines from recognised universities, must have scored at least 70% marks or equivalent grades (60% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and must possess at least three years of appropriate work experience in the technologies mentioned above. Higher qualificaitons and experiecne are welcome. Professionals, not born before 01/06/1976 (age relaxable by three years to OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates), ready to accept technological and professional challenges in world class R&D environmnet may apply for following positions:

• Software Design Engineers (Position code : CDOT/SDE/2007) : Knowledge and working experience in Industry standard database (Oracle, MySql etc.) Experience in product development, implementation and maintenance, knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development, Domain experience in technologies on which C-DOT would be working is desirable.
• Hardware Design Engineers (Position code : CDOT/HDE/2007) : Experience in digital signal processing, radio frequency, enabling technologies for fibre optics systems, sub-systems hardware and other state-of-the-art hardware systems with adequate knowledge of software related to the above hardware. Domain experience in technologies on which C-DOT would be working is desirable.
• Technical Service Engineers (Position code : CDOT/TSE/2007) : Experience in the relevant technology domains of C-DOT, installation, operation, maintenance and validation (hardware and software) of digital switches and othe telecom systems integration, testing, repairs of sub-assemblies and computer support services.
• Mechanical Design Engineers (Position code : CDOT/MDE/2007) : Development of products involving electro-mechanical sub-systems of Telecom products. Working knowledge of Autocad and thermal simulation on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), inventor, EDS (I-DEAS), Pro E, flotherm etc. package is desirable.
• Fresh Research Engineers (Position code : CDOT/FRE/2007) : C-DOT is also looking for Fresh Engineers who would be selected through a written examination and interview process to work in the above technologies as Research Engineers. For details visit C-DOT website.

Remuneration : Suitable experienced candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.10000-15200 while the fresh engineers will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500.
