Uttaranchal Gramin Bank invites applications from the domiciles of Uttarakhand State for the posts as follows:

Vacancies :

• Officer (code -01) : 38 posts (SC-5,ST-6,OBC-10UR-17), Age as on 01/09/2007 : Min. 18 Years and Max. 26 Years (relaxation as per Govt. rules), Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent., Pay Scale : Rs. 10000 –18240/-
• Clerk-cum-Cashier : 30 posts (ST-3,OBC-4,UR-23), Age as on 01/09/2007 : Min. 18 Years and Max. 26 Years (relaxation as per Govt. rules), Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent OR a pass in Higher Secondary School examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/11th Std. of 11+3 pattern / Pre-degree or Intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate OR Diploma in Banking recognised by State or Central Govt. is preffered. OR Pass with 60% marks in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/ SSLC/ 10+2+3 pattern, Pay Scale : Rs. 4410–13210/-

Application Fee : For SC / ST / HI / OH / EX – Serviceman candidates : Rs.50/- for each post (towards Postal Charges only) , For all others including OBC : Rs.250/- for each post (Including Postal Charges of Rs.50/-) Requisite Application Fee must be paid only by means of Account Payee crossed MICR Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque issued by a Scheduled Bank in favour of " Uttaranchal Gramin Bank Recruitment Account - Officers Project 2007 " and "Uttaranchal Gramin Bank Recruitment Account - Clerical Project 2007" payable at Dehradun . Candidate must write his/her name, date of birth & address on the reverse side of the DD/Bankers Cheque.

Selection Process : Officer - Written Exam (consist of objective type paper of Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language) and Interview, Clerk - Written Exam (consist of objective test of Resoning Ability, Numerical Ability, English Language and Clerical Aptitude) and Interview
