Engagement of Specialist Officers on Contractual basis in SBI

State Bank of India (SBI) wishes to recruit bright candidates for following specialist posts on contract basis for a period of 2 years initially.

• Technical Officer (Farm Sector) : 79 posts (UR-40, SC-14, ST-10, OBC-15), Pay : Rs. 2.50 lac p.a. of which 80% will be fixed pay and 20% will be variable pay, Qualification :
  Post Graduates from a recognized Institute / University in the concerned disciplines mentioned in the detailed advertisement with minimum 70% marks (65% for SC, ST and PH candidate)
• Officer (Marketing & Recovery) (Rural) : 3000 posts (UR-1770, SC-403, ST-272, OBC-555), Qualification : Graduate in Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Dairy, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Pharmacy etc. from a recognized University with minimum 70% Marks (65% for SC, ST and PH candidates) or Graduates in the following streams - BBAs, Social Work, Social Welfare, Graduates with specialisation in marketing with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST and PH candidates) or MBA with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST & PH Candidates) , Pay : Rs. 2.00 lac p.a. of which 80% will be fixed pay and 20% will be variable pay.

Age : 21-28 years as on 01/10/08

Application Fee : Rs.250/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-Servicemen) by Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque favouring ‘STATE BANK OF INDIA’. The draft should be made payable at a branch located at the centre where the local Head of the Bank is located for which you are applying. Candidate’s name, post applied for and date of birth should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque.

Last Date : 16/08/2008.
