  1. Junior Engineer (Electrical)     : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 18-27 years
  2. Junior Engineer (Mechanical)     : 12 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 18-27 years
  3. Scientific Assistant (Non-Destructive)  : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600, Age : 30  years
  4. Library and Information Assistant (Language - Kashmiri) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800  grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 18-28  years
  5. Library and Information Assistant (Language - French) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 18-28 years
  6. Library and Information Assistant (Language - German) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 18-28 years
  7. Senior Zoological Assistant : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 30 years
  8. Zoological Assistant  : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 25  years
  9. Junior Zoological Assistant - I : 06 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2800, Age : 25  years



Fee Payable : Rs.50/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only, available at head post office all over the country.

How to Apply : Application in prescribed format should be sent in an envelope superscribed with bold letters as "Application for the posts of .................... " on or before 18/03/2011 (25/03/2011 for candidates from far-flung areas) to  Office of the Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission, (Eastern Region),  234/4, A.J.C.
